Yet another satisfying month for WordPress news! Just like the previous month, we’ve got plenty of new tools, tutorials, opinion articles and news. (Strangely, news stories are less than usual.)

WordPress News
Hurricane hit WordPress conventions too! LoopConf was postponed to an undefined date and WordCamp Orlando was cancelled; then LoopConf has been rescheduled for February 2017 and WordCamp Orlando has been rescheduled for November 12-13. No wonder what theme they will be using in the conferences.
Speaking of WordCamps: WordCamp WarmUp was held and it seems it was a success! I wish I were there, along with award-winning babies and Vietnam veterans.
Global WordPress Translation Day is coming… again, on November 12th! It’s surely going to be exciting for WordPress users whose native language isn’t English.
And the most exciting news this month: WordPress 4.7 Beta 1 is out! Shiny new features include REST API content endpoints, Customizer session snapshots, custom “bulk actions”, custom page templates for all post types, and the user-specific language setting. Pretty cool, huh?

Let’s start with some “legalese”: Because the European Union passed a law about informing website visitors that the website is using “cookies”, you should use one of these plugins to get “cookie consent” from your visitors (if your country is a member of the EU).
Managing multiple WordPress websites? Torque has a good list of “mutliple WordPress website management tools“. My favorite is ManageWP.
If you don’t have FTP access to a certain WordPress website, and you know what you’re doing, you can use the plugin File Manager to access files from the WordPress dashboard.
